They are swindlers! Avoid renting car from here if you do not want to lose your deposit and extra charges.

They took 1500 AED as deposit and charge me 1500 AED for an insignificant tire wear which is smaller than a bug. Which I am not responsible in anyway. It was obviously a old tire and it was fraying due to its age!

Anyways, even if I was responsible for the all tire, it would only cost 300-400 aed to completely change the tire and less than 100 aed to repair it.

If you make a little research, this is their common practice. They are scammers! You are going to pay for this!!!!

I am adding the picture of the so called damage tire to let you guys understand what kind of fraud is going on here!

They steal your Money! Made my booking on 06/21 and my 650€ deposited is still with them. Deposit was supposed to be given back a month ago and still no news from them. No call, No email! Very poor customer service!!

This company is not recommended.They do not have any customer service at all. I rented an Efinity QX80 for 4 days for $605 and I paid 67$ insurance for the car separately, but the company charged me $180 to my bank account without any explanation or reason. Please Delivery time Take a video of the entire car, even from the inside of the car because the roof was damaged and dirty. They said you did this because the company will give you the responsibility for the defects and scratches of the car and charge your bank account. already these defects were already there. . Renting a car from this company is not recommended.

We ordered a Mazda 3 through a third party service at Europcar. On arrival we had to wait over an hour, but that was mostly the fault of incompetent customers trying to rent cars without licenses etc. We got a Hyundai Elantra instead of the 3, which is sort of an upgrade I suppose? The guy at the desk was nice and explained everything clearly.

The car was decent and pickup went smooth. Drove it for two weeks without issues and without damage. Dropoff is hard to locate and has way too little parking spaces, resulting in major chaos.

Upon dropoff, the guy takes out a flashlight and deliberately starts looking for any tiny faults, claiming we bent the rear license plate? I looked back at pictures from day 1 and this was obviously already the case. It's ridiculous to claim this as damage at all. The dude then says he "won't report it" and expects us to thank him. Ridiculous. I'll be keeping a close eye on my credit card for the coming months.

I will never rent a car from Europcar again for the sake of international name vs better prices. Ten people in line to either return or take the car while other brands in the room are serving just one customers at a time. If you have a flight to catch, you will probably miss it for their shortage of staff and long queue.

the worst car hire company in the world! The formalities took ages. Charged 3,000 dirhams deposit from card promising refund only after 45-60 days !!!! To this day I have no refund, no message. The company does not respond to any emails, text messages etc. They simply stole our money!!!! The matter is already being reported to law enforcement. The car was unprepared . we waited over an hour at night . Another one had faults . Service terrible. With us 3 customers had problems with this company

I am trying to contact by email, calls, chats. Everything is ignored!
3000 dirhams was not returned ( my agent confirmed that it was illegall and he is going to start the procedurs)

Why did I not read the reviews before! Now I understand better! So please PEOPLE for the sake of your mental health, stay away from this car rental company! It’s a shame because Europcar is well-known company but honestly Europcar dubai is just a BIG SCAM and unfortunately Dubai airport office is bad but also head office in Al Quoz. They don’t car about anything, no customer service, no communication, nothing! Just please again stay away from this car rental company!

I wouldn't recommend Europcar to the people visiting dubai. My flight got delayed by 1 hour & 20 mins from London. When I came to the counter, I was told my car isn't available as they only hold it for 3 hours and then give it to someone else. 6 can't tell the time when it's only been 1 hour & 20 mins delayed. So the advisor wanted my driving licence, so I gave the international driving, which clearly say on the app and the booking it is required but the advisor wouldn't accept it and wanted my UK driving licence. I was then told that they were getting the car ready and to go to the pick-up desk. When I got there , I sat there for another 30 mins while all the workers was just sat talking only when I got given the car keys Ifound out that car was park at the front the whole time I waited. I never left the airport untill 3:30AM. What a nightmare from start to end
