The metro is a couple of steps from Ibn Battuta Mall and the bus station from which you can go to Abu Dhabi and other cities, which is very convenient.

Wonderful mall, a semi-museum. Themed after the expeditions of the ancient Arab Traveller Ibn Battuta. Good architecture and high ceilings. Free parking.

Keep plenty of time in hand to walk and read through all the pavilions.

This metro station is the most important in the southern part of Dubai because is a link between metro, bus station that connects Dubai with other Emirate (like Abu Dhabi) and regular bus lines in Dubai. There is also a new direct connection with the Ibn Batutta mall which saves you to walk under the sun and hot climate.

Ibne-Batuta Bus Station- You can get Metro Train Red Line from here to the rest of Dubai (Approx 40min to Dubai Airport terminal) Cheap way to travel through Dubai.. Buses to Abu Dhabi every 40 min-( approx 138KM from here- 1:30 hrs travel time)
