Love the furniture, worst customer service possible. I received a call that my furniture was getting delivered the following day, so I took the day off. It never came. I waited a couple days, reached out, and apparently they cancelled my order without telling me? While on the phone I received and email saying it was cancelled (they obviously sent that email while we we chatting). They then made a NEW order, and I foolishly tried again. Yet AGAIN, the order was cancelled 13 days later. This West Elm is clearly not owned by the parent company, or owned by anyone that has any level of understanding about customer service. Go somewhere else, or buy their furniture used so you don’t have to deal with the hassle.

West elms furniture is nice, however customer service is horrible. I bought a shelf on their online store, I received only the brackets and when I called the costumer service they informed me that it is mentioned on the summary that they are sold separately, I don’t always read entire description when the subtitles says ‘’selves’’. I told her this is misleading and asked to return she then said I have to take it to the store myself although I had paid extra for delivery which was not refunded. I also asked to buy the shelves themselves but she said they are sold out.

Funny thing is that when I went to the store and took out the brackets from the bag the lady who works there smiled and told me you thought it came with the shelves right? She told me I’m not the first one to experience this.

In a nut shell, don’t buy online cause the description is misleading and this is not the first time.

Worst customer service of all furniture stores. Purchased 100k worth of furniture and when they delivered it 4 sofas were missing. Sales staff have ignored my calls, call centre staff don’t help. I still haven’t received the 4 missing sofas (20k value). I have faced many similar issues with them in the past and every time I give them another chance I regret it.

Worst service and response, placed an order for delivery on 28th Dec. Since then constantly following up and getting several promises of delivery but till today the item remains undelivered. Please don't waste time ordering from them.

Also wrote to their management but no response. Can see from other responses issue with the customer service.

There are other better quality and professional stores who manage customers far better then West Elm.

I have been buying furniture from the west elm store as a designer for couple of years now and the whole team at west elm is amazing ! The new store at MOE is perfect when I shop for all the furniture requirements together in Barsha area. And the staff at the new store in MOE IS SO HELPFUL !!!! they are extremely efficient with their orders or anything else I need as a designer looking for any furniture options. Look for Danish at the store, this sales head is actually keen to always help the customer with all their furniture requirements .

Worst service EVER !!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER.
I bought a sofa and waited for 2+week for delivery.
They sent only 2 men and they are now saying they cannot deliver to my apartment because I live on the 9th Floor and they cannot go above 6th floor. The worst is Sheila the person who sold the item to me in the store basically lied and is now saying that she told me about the Floor policy which is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE otherwise I wouldn't have bought the item. The customer service is really bad and not helpful at all and will only infuriate you with their bad attitude. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM WEST ELM EVER

I just wanted to let you know I have received absolutely pathetic after sales service from the online store in UAE. I placed an order in 23rd Nov which was supposed to be delivered on 5th Dec. I was traveling on that date so asked for another date and they confirmed 8th. On 8th I receive a call saying there is a warehouse issue and it will be delivered 14th. When I asked what the warehouse issue was nobody would give me a transparent answer until I messaged someone who works for West Elm on LinkedIn and he got someone to call me and told me the issue was the item had not been delivered at the port however it was guaranteed for 14th. On 14th morning I get a text that the delivery is confirmed so waited at home the whole day but no phone call on delivery confirmation and no delivery. I called the call center twice who promised to check and call me back but no callback. Now on the 15th I also called the call centre to complain and he promised to check and call back but no call back. No text or call on delivery today either. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I am currently in a shocking situation with West Elm where they promised 10days delivery for a Sofa. I then chased them for a delivery date. A few days later they cancel that delivery data and say it will be 6 weeks as no stock left. It is still showing on their website as in stock for 10day delivery! I will leave this review here if this doesn't get sorted and I don't get my sofa within 10days.

Love the area has good views all around and only a 2 minute walk and you got Blaenavon town which is small but got all you need there plenty of little shops and pubs and two Chinese takeaways a fish and chip shop and so on also the town got lots of charter. Not to mention the bus stop get the x24 you can go anywhere from Blaenavon to Newport and back.
