Great car issued when I booked it for 48 hours. You can get full insurance coverage and child seat rental on-site as well. I dropped the car off at Dubai Airport so it is great that Hertz offers this as a good rate and are flexible with this arrangement. Highly recommended!

Although the car rental company uses the famous Hertz company name, its services are of a poor standard. There are long queues at the counter at the Abu Dhabi airport, the staff is very slow and reluctant. The nearby Avis works much better - faster, cheaper. Therefore, I definitely do not recommend this branch.

Hertz Abu Dhabi airport charged me an additional amount after returning the car without my knowledge or consent.

I have been sending emails to the customer care to send me an invoice for the charge, but nothing so far.

Will avoid this company in the future.

We were served by Mr Amir at the Abu Dhabi Airport counter.He gave us the best service we have ever received from Hertz even comparing with other countries globally.
He was professional and extremely polite. He answered and solved all our requests! If only all your staff can be like him.
I also wish to add that ALL the staff were also very kind and friendly

I read all reviews after I had booked the car with Hertz. Online. I emailed them twice before my arrival just to make sure there are no issues with rental. I can confirm that I received the best service, I picked up Rav 4 on 07/10/2022 at 8:00am- (although it was booked for 10am). Returned after 3 days, no issues, so extra charges, no hidden costs, security deposit received no issues, always received response within 24 hours. On arrival & return guys help with my luggage as I had my elderly parents with me. Very happy.

I never rated a rental car company this rating but they deserve it. Starting from front desk to car receiving. They are friendly and professional. Also thanks to their Dubai office during the returning the the car, their fast action. Thanks to everyone deal with me. Really the were great.

Today I had my worst ever customer service experience. I called at 8:42 AM to report a flat tire on the highway. I was left stranded on the highway with no help at all from HERTZ. I was told someone will contact me shortly. Over the span of close to 2 hours I did not receive any response from HERTZ. I called 4 times, the only response I got was an apology and a promise that someone will contact me. I gave them my number so I can speak to their manager but again without response. One of the customer service employees during my second call with him pretended he was not able to hear me.

Save yourself the headache and go with a different company.

They charged me multiple times for "speeding tickets" with no proof of that actually happening. Because I read other reviews here I knew about their practice in advance and I asked for information about possible tickets at the time of car return. I was informed that all tickets arrive to their office quite soon and that only those occurred on the day before have not been included. My credit card issuer informed me that I was charged five times over the next month after car drop off and total amount of tickets overpassed the entire amount of car rental including full insurance. I contacted Hertz to provide me information about all those tickets and they simply ignored my request. No way that all those violations happened on my behalf.

Second but not the least, even though you pay for full insurance, you need to get police report for smallest scratch on your car

Staff were friendly enough, but we were in there to watch the football that they had on but one of the regulars thought it was a great idea to keep putting the juke box on at full volume playing Benny Hill classics? Every pub I have ever been in, when the football is on the juke box goes off. Left before half time as we couldn't stand it anymore. Will never be back, best avoided.
